Sense of Place

Groveland Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition, Sense of Place.  This exhibition was curated in collaboration with the Minnesota Conservation Volunteermagazine. The show coincides with the November-December 2018 Sense of Place edition of this popular magazine which is published by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.  Both the magazine and the exhibition will feature artwork by eleven Groveland Gallery artists each of whose artwork takes inspiration from the natural world that surrounds us and defines Minnesota.

STUDIO: HERE - 12 Artists, 12 Hours, 12 Days

Each day of the fair, there will be one practicing Minnesota artist work from 9am to 9pm in the gallery. The Special Exhibition area in the Fine Arts building will be provided as work space: "a-studio-away-from-studio". Each of our artists will display one work in our gallery for the duration of the fair. Many experienced gallery-goers walk through our building each day, but for many of our visitors, this may be the one time each year to interact with fine art.
